Russian air defenses intercept six HIMARS, Uragan rockets, down 36 Ukrainian drones

A total of 554 planes, 261 helicopters, 9,991 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 missile systems, 14,279 tanks and other armored combat vehicles have been destroyed since the start of Russia’s special military operation

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Russian air defenses intercepted six HIMARS and Uragan rockets in the past day and downed 36 Ukrainian drones, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"Air defenses intercepted six HIMARS and Uragan rockets in the past day. In addition, 36 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed," the statement reads.

A total of 554 planes, 261 helicopters, 9,991 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 missile systems, 14,279 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,189 multiple rocket launchers, 7,462 field artillery systems and mortars, as well as 16,618 special military motor vehicles, have been destroyed since the start of Russia’s special military operation.
