MOSCOW, December 3. /TASS/. Ukraine lost up to 300 troops in the Donetsk area over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"In the Donetsk area, units of the battlegroup South, supported by artillery fire, hit Ukrainian troops and equipment in the areas of the settlements of Kurdyumovka, Andreyevka and Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic. Enemy losses in this area totaled up to 300 servicemen, an infantry fighting vehicle, two motor vehicles, a D-20 artillery gun, a D-30 howitzer and a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit," the ministry said.
