Minister calls on all Russian companies to employ cyber security specialists

Maksut Shadayev said government organizations with critical infrastructure were already employing cyber security specialists

KASPIYSK /Dagestan/, November 17. /TASS/. All Russian companies need cyber security specialists like they have firemen, Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev believes.

"I believe each company has an employee in charge of fire safety. The same is about information security. All organizations should have such people," he said at the Caspian Digital Forum.

Shadayev said government organizations with critical infrastructure were already employing cyber security specialists. "A presidential decree obliges government companies with critical infrastructure objects to have officials in charge of cyber security. It is a good practice. Cyber security specialists and units decrease risks of incidents," the minister said.

The International Digital Caspian Forum is held in Dagestan on November 16-18. This is Caucasus project of TASS news agency is an information partner.
