Russian command, Syrian forces to take measures against sabotage attacks by militants

The command of the Russian battlegroup and the leadership of the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic will take the necessary preemptive measures to prevent armed provocations, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit said

The command of the Russian forces in Syria and the Syrian government troops will take measures against the sabotage attacks that are being prepared by illegal armed formations in the south of the country, said Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria.

"According to the information received by the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties, sabotage groups of militants from radical armed groups that underwent training in the al-Tanf area are planning to carry out sabotage attacks in the southern regions of Syria against government forces on the main road routes, as well as fuel and energy facilities. The command of the Russian battlegroup and the leadership of the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic will take the necessary preemptive measures to prevent armed provocations," he said.
