MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Russian forces have improved their positions in the Ugledar and Maryinka directions, acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said on Tuesday.
"As for the Maryinka direction, the situation here is developing more dynamically and we can speak about very serious improvement in the positions," he said in an interview with Russia’s TV Channel One.
According to Pushilin, minor improvements in the positions of Russian forces are reported in the Ugledar direction and serious improvements - in the Avdeyevka direction. As for the Gorlovka direction, "we see certain successes there as well," he said.
He said that Russian forces are repelling Ukraine’s attempted attacks in the Ugledar direction and continue to encircle Avdeyevka, with routes of supplies to the Ukrainian army being under dense fire control.
