MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Russian air defense forces intercepted a GLSDB smart munition and four rockets of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system over the past day during the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Tuesday.
"In the past 24 hours, air defense capabilities intercepted four rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and a GLSDB smart munition. In addition, they destroyed nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in areas near the settlements of Maryinka, Vesyoloye and Yelenovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Marinskoye and Novaya Mayachka in the Kherson Region," the spokesman said.

Russian forces destroyed over 30 Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk area in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, air strikes and artillery fire by the western battlegroup inflicted damage on the Ukrainian army units in areas near the settlements of Sinkovka and Kislovka in the Kharkov Region. The strikes eliminated over 30 Ukrainian personnel, three tanks, two motor vehicles and a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery gun," the spokesman said.

Russian forces eliminated over 90 Ukrainian troops in the Krasny Liman area over the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, assault aircraft strikes, artillery fire and active operations by units of the battlegroup Center inflicted damage on the enemy in the area of the settlement of Yampolovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
Over 90 Ukrainian personnel, three armored combat vehicles, a pickup truck and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed in that area in the past 24 hours, the general specified.

Russian forces destroyed over 450 Ukrainian troops and mercenaries in their advance in the Donetsk area over the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"The enemy’s losses in the past 24 hours amounted to over 450 Ukrainian personnel and mercenaries, three tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, six armored combat vehicles, six motor vehicles, D-20 and Msta-B howitzers and two US-manufactured AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radars," the spokesman said.
Russian troops focus major efforts on Artyomovsk in Donetsk area
Russian troops focused their major efforts on Artyomovsk in the Donetsk area, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Donetsk direction, the basic efforts in combat operations are focused on the city of Artyomovsk," the spokesman said.
During the last 24-hour period, assault units of the Wagner private military company continued fighting for residential areas in the city’s central part, edging out enemy forces to western outskirts, the general specified.
"On the flanks, Airborne Force units are supporting the assault teams," Konashenkov reported.
Russian aircraft fly 11 sorties to support troop advance in Artyomovsk
Russian combat aircraft flew 11 sorties in the past day to support the troop advance in the battles for Artyomovsk, he said.
"During the last 24-hour period, the aircraft flew 11 sorties while missile troops and artillery accomplished 48 firing objectives in the area of the city of Artyomovsk for these purposes [to support the operations by assault units]," the spokesman said.
Russian forces destroy 30 Ukrainian troops in southern Donetsk, Zaporozhye areas
Russian forces destroyed roughly 30 Ukrainian troops and two artillery guns in the southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye areas in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
In the southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, aircraft and artillery of the battlegroup East struck the Ukrainian army units in areas near the settlements of Novomikhailovka and Ugledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
As many as 30 Ukrainian personnel, a pickup truck, a Msta-B howitzer and an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery gun were destroyed in those areas in the past 24 hours, the general specified.
Russian forces destroy ten Ukrainian troops in Kherson area
Russian forces destroyed roughly ten Ukrainian troops, a D-30 howitzer and a Grad rocket launcher in the Kherson area over the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Kherson direction, as many as ten Ukrainian personnel, two motor vehicles, two Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, a D-30 howitzer and a Grad multiple rocket launcher were destroyed as a result of damage inflicted by firepower," the spokesman said.
Russian forces wipe out two radars, ammo depot
Russian forces destroyed two radars and an artillery ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army over the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Mirolyubovka in the Zaporozhye Region, a position was uncovered and an aiming radar of a Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed. In the area of the settlement of Ocheretino in the Donetsk People’s Republic, an artillery ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army’s 110th mechanized brigade was obliterated. In the area of the settlement of Dyleyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar was destroyed," the spokesman said.
During the last 24-hour period, operational/tactical aircraft, missile troops and artillery of the Russian group of forces struck 74 Ukrainian artillery units at firing positions, manpower and equipment in 97 areas, the general said.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 406 Ukrainian warplanes, 228 helicopters, 3,736 unmanned aerial vehicles, 415 surface-to-air missile systems, 8,626 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,079 multiple rocket launchers, 4,563 field artillery guns and mortars and 9,426 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
