MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup East thwarted an attempt by a Ukrainian mobile firing group to advance toward the positions of Russian forces near Zaporozhye and struck an enemy stronghold, Battlegroup Spokesman Alexander Gordeyev told TASS.

"In the Zaporozhye direction, an attempt by an enemy mobile firing group to advance toward our forefront positions was thwarted. An armored vehicle and five militants were eliminated. An enemy stronghold near Novodanilovka was struck by artillery fire, with five nationalists wiped out," Gordeyev specified.
