Russian forces stop Ukrainian firing group from advancing toward Russia’s positions

According to Alexander Gordeyev, a Russian Penitsillin artillery reconnaissance system uncovered a Ukrainian Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer that was later destroyed by a Giatsint-B field gun crew

MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup East thwarted an attempt by a Ukrainian mobile firing group to advance toward the positions of Russian forces near Zaporozhye and struck an enemy stronghold, Battlegroup Spokesman Alexander Gordeyev told TASS.

"In the Zaporozhye direction, an attempt by an enemy mobile firing group to advance toward our forefront positions was thwarted. An armored vehicle and five militants were eliminated. An enemy stronghold near Novodanilovka was struck by artillery fire, with five nationalists wiped out," Gordeyev specified.

According to him, a Russian Penitsillin artillery reconnaissance system uncovered a Ukrainian Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer that was later destroyed by a Giatsint-B field gun crew.
