Russian forces eliminate ammunition depots in DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions

According to Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov, tactical aviation, rocket forces and artillery hit 92 Ukrainian artillery units, personnel and vehicles in 114 areas

MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. In the past 24 hours, Russian forces eliminated ammunition depots in Kiev-controlled parts of DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said Saturday.

"A total of three Ukrainian shell and rocket ammunition depots were destroyed in settlements of Konstantinovka, DPR, Berislav, Kherson Region and Orekhov, Zaporozhye Region," he said.

According to Konashenkov, tactical aviation, rocket forces and artillery hit 92 Ukrainian artillery units, personnel and vehicles in 114 areas.

In the past 24 hours, Russian air defense systems intercepted 7 HIMARS rockets and downed 7 Ukrainian drones.

Overall, since the beginning of the special military operation, the enemy lost 406 planes, 228 helicopters, 3,702 drones, 415 missile air defense systems, 1,078 multiple launch rocket systems, 4,532 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 9,342 special military automobile vehicles.
