MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems destroyed 11 drones of the Ukrainian armed forces over the past day, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Sunday.

"In a day, air defense systems destroyed 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of the settlements of Vladimirovka, Kirillovka, Verkhnetoretskoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Novokrasnyanka, Varvarovka, Kreminnaya of the Lugansk People’s Republic and Novaya Kakhovka of the Kherson region, Velikie Vyselki of the Kharkov region," he said.

According to Konashenkov, since the beginning of the special military operation, a total of 405 Ukrainian aircraft, 228 helicopters, 3,641 unmanned aerial vehicles, 415 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8,510 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,077 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 4,485 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 9,270 units of special military vehicles have been eliminated.
