Russia’s defense chief hands down order to double output of precision weapons

It is reported that the corporation faces a very serious task

MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu handed down an order to double the output of precision weapons, the Defense Ministry of Russia reported on Tuesday.

The Russian defense chief issued this order during his visit to Tactical Missiles Corporation, the ministry specified.

"Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu pointed out that Tactical Missiles Corporation worthily fulfills the defense procurement plan. However, taking into account the output increase this year, he handed down an order to double the production of precision weapons," the ministry said in a statement.

The corporation faces a very serious task, the minister said. "For its fulfillment, the enterprise has all the required reserves, highly skilled specialists and production capacities. That is why, the task is serious but can be fulfilled," Shoigu stressed.
