Kalashnikov products enjoy interest globally due to combat use — President

The company noted that, during the expo, its booth was visited by dozens of delegations

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Products of the Kalashnikov Concern are competitive and enjoy interest on the global market due to them being used in large-scale, full-fledged military action, the President of the Concern Alan Lushnikov said after the IDEX 2023 international expo.

"The main conclusion that we’ve drawn from this expo: interest in our products is defined neither by the size of our booth nor by its location at the venue, but by the experience of our weapons being used in combat - specifically, use not in a blitz operation, but in large-scale, full-fledged combat action. And, from this standpoint, the concern’s products, just like all Russian weapons, currently enjoy an obvious competitive advantage," Lushnikov said, according to the Kalashnikov press office.

The company noted that, during the expo, its booth was visited by dozens of delegations. Overall, the concern presented over 50 products at the IDEX: combat and civilian firearms, solutions for dynamic protection and special operations gear, drones, missile and maritime vehicles.

The IDEX 2023 international arms expo took place in Abu Dhabi from February 20 to 24. The Russian exposition was set up in a separate pavilion, where Russian military-industrial complex companies presented over 200 live examples of weapons, military vehicles, ammunition and gear.
