Assault units’ demand for munitions satisfied on urgent basis — defense ministry

According to the ministry, as many as 1,660 rockets for multiple rocket launcher systems were supplied to volunteers of assault units in a period from February 18 to 20

MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Assault units’ demand for munitions is satisfied in the shortest possible time, the Russian defense ministry said on Tuesday.

"All bids for munitions for assault units are satisfied on an urgent basis. It has always been and will be this way," it said.

According to the ministry, as many as 1,660 rockets for multiple rocket launcher systems, 10,171 shells for heavy artillery systems and mortars, and 980 munitions for tanks were supplied to volunteers of assault units in a period from February 18 to 20.
