SIMFEROPOL, January 20. /TASS/. An anti-sniper force is being created in Crimea under the supervision of the republic’s chief Sergey Aksenov, his press service has told TASS.
Vladislav Lobaev, the founder of the Lobaev Arms private weapons maker specializing in high-precision long-range rifles, earlier told the Crimea-24 TV channel that an anti-sniper unit is being formed in Crimea.
"Indeed, the republic’s chief is supervising the creation of the force that Lobayev was talking about. Non-budgetary sources are used to purchase the required weapons and ammunition," a spokesperson said.
Crimean leader Sergey Aksenov said on Thursday that his region had sent another humanitarian delivery for those taking part in Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, including clothes, medicines and tools. The government of Crimea also delivered necessary equipment to the special operation zone, such as diesel generators, chainsaws, gas cylinders and jet heaters.
