Russia’s long-range aviation receives another Tu-22M3 missile carrier plane

According to the United Aircraft Corporation press office, the plane underwent the necessary performance upgrades

MOSCOW, December 30. /TASS/. Russian Aerospace Forces long-range aviation received another Tu-22M3 missile carrier bomber, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) press office announced Friday.

"In late December, Tupolev JSC shipped another Tu-22M3 missile carrier bomber for use in the Aerospace Forces’ long-range aviation under the state defense order," the press office said.

According to the press office, the plane underwent the necessary performance upgrades. Following a demonstration flight, the plane was handed over to the operating organization. Maintenance of long-range aviation planes is one of the most important operation areas for Tupolev, where a large amount of work is carried out.
