MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. The transfer of the Project 20380 multirole corvette Mercury to the Russian Navy can be postponed until early 2023, a source closed to the Russian Defense Ministry told TASS.

"The Mercury corvette has not yet passed the inspection after trials. The pessimistic deadline for its transfer to the Navy is the start of the next year," the source said.

TASS has no official confirmation of this piece of information.

The Mercury was planned for the handover to the Navy by October 2022, TASS reported earlier.
