Russian forces evacuate over 15,800 residents of DPR, LPR, Ukraine to Russia in past day

According to the chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center Mikhail Mizintsev, since the start of the special military operation, a total of 837,157 people have already been evacuated

Russia’s Armed Forces have evacuated over 15,800 residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), as well as dangerous areas of Ukraine, to Russia in the past 24 hours, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, the chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on

"Despite the obstacles created by Kiev, 15,837 people, including 2,659 children, have been evacuated to Russia from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and dangerous areas of Ukraine over the past 24 hours, without the participation of the Ukrainian authorities," said Mizintsev, who heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

According to the colonel general, since the start of the special military operation, a total of 837,157 people have already been evacuated, including 154,396 children. A total of 111,029 private vehicles crossed into Russia, 2,034 of them in the past 24 hours.
