Pantsir systems demonstrated effectiveness in Ukraine — Rostec

The systems have been used for protection from missiles, planes and reconnaissance and attack drones

MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. Surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery systems Pantsir have demonstrated their effectiveness during the special operation in Ukraine, Rostec corporation told the media on Friday.

"In the course of the operation our Pantsir systems proved their effectiveness many times. They can be described as the quintessence of Russia’s technologies boasting cutting-edge solutions, in the first place those in the field of radio-electronics," Rostec said.

The systems have been used with success for protection from missiles, planes and reconnaissance and attack drones.

Earlier, Russia’s defense ministry released a video showing a Russian operator speaking about air targets eliminated by Pantsir-S. These systems are used to shoot down attack drones and also GRAD and Tochka-U missiles during approach.
