MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. More than 13,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid ae about to be delivered to Ukrainian people, the humanitarian response coordination headquarters under Russia’s National Defense Management Center said on Sunday.
"Federal executive bodies jointly with Russian regions from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, various public organizations and patriotic movements have prepared more than 13,500 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes," it said.
As many as 557 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes have already been delivered to Ukraine. Eighty humanitarian operations have been conducted in 123 settlements in the Zaporozhye, Kiev, Kharkov, and Kherson regions, and in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
Twenty-eight humanitarian operations were conducted on Sunday in the Kiev region and in the Donbass republics. A total of 323 tonnes of articles of daily necessity were delivered.
