SUV rams crowd in China, injuring 20 — report

The perpetrator attempted to flee the scene, but was caught by the police

HONG KONG, November 11. /TASS/. An SUV rammed into a crowd of people in Zhuhai, China, the Sing Tao Daily reported, adding that about 20 people were injured in the incident.

The vehicle reportedly veered onto the sidewalk at an outdoor sports complex, hitting several people who were out exercising. The perpetrator attempted to flee the scene, but was caught by the police.

According to the police, the perpetrator is a 62-year-old man. His motives are being investigated.
