Ukrainian military not to run out of munitions until April 2024 — Ukrainian expert

The expert said that Russia has "a massive and large-scale" military-industrial complex, which is capable of meeting the needs of its army

MOSCOW, December 22. /TASS/. Ukraine’s armed forces have enough ammunition to last until April 2024, but there are already some shortages now, a Ukrainian expert said.

According to Alexey Getman, the calculations show that "what has already been provided [to Kiev] will be enough until early April."

"Now the number of artillery attacks is decreasing, so some shortage is starting to be felt," he said in an interview with the Ukrainian weekly magazine Focus.

Getman believes that the Ukrainian military leadership will have to postpone some operations to give time for new arms shipments to arrive. The expert said that Russia has "a massive and large-scale" military-industrial complex, which is capable of meeting the needs of its army.

"As for France or Germany, they would also be unable to provide their armies with everything needed on their own, with the help of just their military-industrial complexes," the expert added.
