Explosion hits Kharkov in northeastern Ukraine – media

No air raid alert was announced in the region

MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. An explosion ripped through the city of Kharkov in northeastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian media outlet Obshchestvennoye reported on Sunday.

An air raid alert was not declared in the region, it said.

Kharkov Garrison Head Sergey Melnik confirmed on his Telegram channel that an explosion had occurred, adding that its causes were being established.

As the news agency Ukrinform reported, the explosion hit a filling station at the railway terminal. The news agency posted a video showing raging fire.
