At least six Palestinians killed in Gaza hospital strike — Tasnim

According to the news agency, the Israeli army struck the area near the obstetrics and gynecology department, which sowed panic among the patients there

DUBAI, November 10. /TASS/. At least six Palestinians were killed when Israeli troops struck the area adjacent to the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, the Iranian agency Tasnim reported.

According to the news agency, the Israeli army struck the area near the obstetrics and gynecology department, which sowed panic among the patients there.

As Al Mayadeen TV channel reported citing the Palestinian Health Ministry, a maternity hospital located on the territory of the Al-Shifa medical complex also came under artillery fire. One person was killed and a child was injured.

According to earlier reports, at least 120 medical institutions in the Gaza Strip were attacked by the Israeli armed forces. As indicated by the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, 18 hospitals and another 40 medical centers in the enclave were rendered inoperable due to shelling and fuel shortages.

The situation in the Middle East sharply escalated following an incursion of Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip into Israel on October 7. Hamas regards the attack as a response to Israeli actions against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Jerusalem's Temple Mount. Israel has declared a complete siege of the Gaza Strip and has started delivering strikes on that area and parts of Lebanon and Syria.
