Houthis release video of alleged rocket launch toward Israel

The footage demonstrates a ground launch of 2 ballistic and 18 cruise missiles, as well as 29 drones

MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. /TASS/. A representative of Yemen's Ansar Allah rebel movement, Yahya Saria, has uploaded a video to his Telegram channel that shows drones and rockets allegedly being launched toward Israel.

The footage demonstrates a ground launch of 2 ballistic and 18 cruise missiles, as well as 29 drones. The comment says the video demonstrates "joint operations by the Yemeni missile forces and Air Force" striking targets deep inside Israeli territory.

On Tuesday, Saria said the Houthis "launched a large batch of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as a large number of drones" toward Israel. The movement's spokesman said the Houthis "will continue to carry out better missile and drone strikes until the Israeli aggression stops."

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces’ press office reported that "sirens were sounded in the Eilat area in southern Israel to warn of an incursion by an enemy aircraft." Israel's Kan Radio later said that the drone had been launched from Yemen and shot down over the Red Sea.

On October 27, the Egyptian air defenses shot down two drones over the northeastern Sinai Peninsula. The UAVs were flying northwards from the southern Red Sea. Shortly before that, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said that the Houthis had struck Egypt using rockets and drones.
