Israel delivered airstrikes on the infrastructure of airports in Syria’s Damascus and Aleppo on Sunday morning, disrupting their operation, Vadim Kulit, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry), said.
"At 5:22 a.m. and 5:33 a.m. on October 22, three F-15 and four F-16 tactical fighter jects of the Israeli Air Force delivered strikes on the infrastructure of the Duvali (Damascus) and Nayrab (Aleppo) airports from the Mediterranean Sea, without entering Syria’s airspace. As a result of the Israeli airstrikes, runways were partially damaged. The airports’ operation was disrupted," he said.
