Russian Anti-Doping Agency’s budget for next year to be upped, says agency’s chief

"It is another proof that Russia continues standing for the clean sports," Veronika Loginova noted

MOSCOW, December 26. /TASS/. The government of Russia is set to increase the budget of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) for the year of 2024, RUSADA Director General Veronika Loginova told TASS on Tuesday.

Asked in an interview with TASS whether the agency’s budget would be upped next year, Loginova replied: "It will be."

"I believe that it is a great sign," she noted. "It is another proof that Russia continues standing for the clean sports."

"It is obvious to everyone that despite the current bans on [Russian athletes’] participation in international tournaments, the right of our athletes to just competitions must be protected," Loginova added.
