MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Russia’s mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Usman Nurmagomedov has been confirmed for his debut Bellator fight in the lightweight category against Mike Hamel of the United States on April 2, Bellator President Scott Coker announced on his Twitter account on Friday.
"Undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov will make his Bellator MMA debut in a lightweight fight against Mike Hamel during the main card of Bellator event 255," Coker stated.

The 22-year-old Russian fighter currently boasts an unblemished MMA record of 11 wins (seven by KO/TKO; three by submission and one by decision). Usman Nurmagomedov is a cousin of Russia’s UFC (the Ultimate Fighting Championship) lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
American fighter Mike ‘Magic’ Hamel is 28 years old. He currently packs a record of seven wins (three by KO/TKO; four by decisions) and four defeats (one by KO/TKO; one by submission, one by decision and one by others).
