Russian Interior Ministry puts journalist Alexander Kushnar on wanted list

Currently, Alexander Kushnar resides outside Russia

MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. Journalist Alexander Kushnar (listed in Russia as a foreign agent) has been put on a wanted list under a criminal article, as follows from the database of the Russian Interior Ministry.

"Alexander Kushnar [born in 1985] is wanted under an article of the Criminal Code," the data base says. The article in question is not mentioned.

The Ministry of Justice in September 2022 included Alexander Kushnar in the list of foreign agents. Ukraine is mentioned as the foreign source of funding and the reason for listing the journalist as a foreign agent is formulated as "involvement in political activity."

Currently, Kushnar resides outside Russia. He maintains his own YouTube channel, in which he criticizes the Russian authorities’ policies.
