GROZNY, October 3. /TASS/. Chechnya’s head Ramzad Kadyrov has announced plans to apply for a Russian national record and also a Guinness World Record for the number of sanctions imposed on him.
"A total of 15 measures have been imposed against me personally, with ten sanctions introduced against my family members, 28 against my associates and kindred spirits, nine against my organizations, four on my horses and another four on Instagram accounts related to me," he wrote on Telegram on Monday. "First, I will apply to be included in the Russian Book of Records as it’s obviously dearer to me. And then, I will also apply for a Guinness World Record so that foreign politicians don’t think they have been inventing restrictions for 11 years in vain," Kadyrov said.
He pointed out that neither Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko nor Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad had as many sanctions on them to boast of. "I have even left the North Korean leader behind, while they have made movies about him in Hollywood," Kadyrov noted. "By the way, the Hollywood guys would probably want to make a movie about the terrible Ramzan Kadyrov, too? I’m ready to star in it," the Chechen leader added.
