Russian PM to attend UN Climate Change Conference in Baku

MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan where he will speak at the UN Climate Change Conference.

The 29th UN Climate Change Conference (COP 29) is being held in Baku on November 11-22. More than 50 heads of state and government have confirmed their participation. It is also being attended by the leaders of international organizations, including UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. The delegates will discuss potential solutions to address the negative impact of global warming and ways to promote the green agenda.

The greater part of Mishustin’s visit will be devoted to Russian-Azerbaijani ties. The Russian head of government will hold a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and conduct talks with Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
