Russian air defenses intercept drone in Dagestan

According to Sergey Melikov, the investigation of the incident is now underway

MAKHACHKALA, November 6. /TASS/. Air defenses downed a drone over Kaspiysk in Dagestan, Russia’s North Caucasus, Sergey Melikov, the head of the region, reported.

"This morning, air defense forces destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle in the skies over Kaspiysk," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Melikov, the investigation of the incident is now underway.

"The operational headquarters is at work. I am in constant contact with the relevant agencies. I can assure you that all decisions will be made in a timely manner to ensure the safety of the residents of the republic. I urge everyone to remain calm, trust only reliable sources, and, most importantly, not to publish photos and videos that may assist the enemy," the regional head added.
