MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not comment on reports about agreements between Ankara and Washington on the execution of anti-Russian sanctions. He noted that this concerns relations between the United States and Turkey, but Russia considers the restrictions imposed on it illegitimate.
"We have nothing to comment. These are relations between Turkey and America, we have nothing to say here. We are developing our relations with Turkey and consider these sanctions illegal," Peskov told reporters.
According to a columnist for the Hurriyet newspaper, Turkey and the US allegedly agreed to establish a system "for complying with sanctions" imposed by Washington against Moscow. According to the publication, American officials will first alert Turkey if its companies violate anti-Russian restrictions.
