MOSCOW, March 17. /TASS/. Total voter turnout in the Russian presidential election beat the 2018 record, according to data posted on the Russian Central Election Commission’s website and two online voting platforms.
As of 1:50 p.m. Moscow time (10:50 a.m. GMT - TASS) on Sunday, voter turnout at polling stations amounted to 66.07%, while at 1:00 p.m. Moscow time (10:00 a.m. GMT), the figure for electronic votes accounted for roughly 6.89% of Russian voters across the country.
Total voter turnout in the 2018 presidential election stood at 67.54%.
