MANAGUA /Nicaragua/, February 27. /TASS/. Russia is ready to continue helping Latin American countries and developing coordination with them within international format, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said.

"We are ready to offer all-round, comprehensive support for our Latin American friends," he said opening security consultations with partners from Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, and Bolivia.

"We need to strengthen our coordination within international formats to defend, shoulder to shoulder, the sovereign equality of state, the supremacy of law, the indivisibility of security, the inadmissibility of interference into domestic affairs, to speak against illegal sanction pressure," he stressed.
