Ukrainian military fires 38 rounds at Russia’s Belgorod Region over past day

Power lines and gas pipelines were damaged in the village of Vyazovoye in Krasnoyaruzhsky District

BELGOROD, December 20. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military fired 38 rounds of munitions at Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram.

"The village of Vyazovoye came under fire in the Krasnoyaruzhsky District; five munitions were fired. No one was hurt but power lines and gas pipelines were damaged. Repairs are underway," he wrote.

The Ukrainian armed forces fired 12 artillery shells at the village of Shchetinovka and another two at the village of Naumovka in the Belgorodsky District. The village of Nekhoteyevka was attacked with four kamikaze drones. "No casualties or damage were reported in the villages," Gladkov pointed out.

Ukrainian troops fired four mortar shells and five grenades at the Stary farming community in the Volokonovsky District on December 19. Six mortar shells were fired at the town of Shebekino, another three at the Shebekino border checkpoint and one more at the Mukhin farming community. "There were no casualties or damage," the governor said.
