PREVIEW: CIS Prime Ministers to discuss cultural, humanitarian cooperation

The meeting will wrap up the three-day program of CIS prime ministers in Moscow; the first events took place on December 16

MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. Prime Ministers of CIS member states will hold a meeting in Moscow on Monday. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will attend the event.

The main focus will be paid to the expansion of cultural and humanitarian cooperation. After the meeting, the prime ministers will adopt a joint statement, which will cement the key areas of work on the deepening of inter-cultural dialogue, strengthening of mutual understanding and popularization of cultural diversity of the Commonwealth countries.

The meeting will wrap up the three-day program of CIS prime ministers in Moscow; the first events took place on December 16.

This year, Kyrgyzstan presides over the Commonwealth; Russia will become the CIS chair on January 1.
