MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. The foreign policy bonds between Russia and China are playing an increasingly stabilizing role in the international arena, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the Federation Council (upper house or "senate" of Russia’s parliament), categorizing the relationship between the two countries as "the best in history."
"The relationship of comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction between Russia and China is seeing its best period in history," Russia’s top diplomat said. According to him, the foreign policy bonds being forged between Moscow and Beijing "are playing an increasingly stabilizing role in the international arena."
"It’s hard to overestimate the role of an intensive, trust-based top-level dialogue [between the two countries]," Lavrov continued, recounting that the Russian and Chinese leaders had met twice already this year alone.
