MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry monitors violations of the rights of Russian citizens and compatriots abroad, a senior Russian diplomat said.
"For our part, we are also engaged in analytical information and monitoring of violations of the rights of Russian citizens abroad," Olga Chekrizova, First Secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department for Humanitarian Cooperation and Human Rights, said at a round table on discrimination against Russian citizens and compatriots abroad.
"Among other things, the Foreign Ministry is preparing a report directly on this issue: on violations of the rights of Russian citizens and compatriots abroad. This report will be available on the ministry's website. At present, the next report, which will be published this year, is in the final stage of preparation," Chekrizova said.
