MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Russia and Tajikistan signed eight documents on expanding cooperation, including in industry and transport, following the official visit of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to Moscow.
The document exchange ceremony took place in the Kremlin in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Tajik counterpart.
In particular, Moscow and Dushanbe signed a plan for cooperation in the industrial sector, a memorandum on the development of cooperation in training and retraining of personnel in the transport sector, and a plan of practical actions for cooperation in the transport sector for 2023-2025.
The ministers of economic development of the two countries also signed a memorandum of cooperation. In addition, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed in the field of enforcement of court decisions and other government documents, an agreement in the customs area, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation on labor inspection and promotion of employment. The Kurchatov Institute and the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan entered into an agreement on scientific and scientific-technical cooperation.
