Partial suspension of Russian tax conventions effective from August 8

On August 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree suspending certain provisions of tax agreements with the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU countries and other unfriendly states

MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. The partial suspension of tax conventions with a number of countries is effective since the time when the Russian Foreign Ministry sent notes to countries, which was done on August 8, the press service of the Finance Ministry told TASS.

"The operation of provisions in agreements is suspended since the time when the Foreign Ministry sent notes to countries. This was done on August 8 and suspension is therefore effective since that date," the finance ministry said.

On August 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree suspending certain provisions of tax agreements with the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU countries and other unfriendly states.
