MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Washington's increasing military activity in the Middle East does not contribute to detente in the region, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told reporters.
"I think it does not contribute to detente in the region. They are already crossing all the red lines, the question is why," the special presidential envoy for the Middle East and Africa said.
"I think that the fight against Hamas, which is proclaimed as the ultimate goal, does not require such a number of rocket launchers, such a number of the most advanced weapons. So some more global goals are being set," the senior diplomat pointed out.
