West talks about isolation, developing countries continue dialogue with Moscow — Lavrov

Sergey Lavrov noted that he had a tour to African states recently

NEW DELHI, March 2. /TASS/. Western states are the only ones that continue talking about isolation of Russia, while developing countries continue their cooperation with Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference after the G20 meeting of Foreign Ministers in New Delhi.

"I don’t quite understand how one can talk about isolation of Russia, when it is only our Western partners who keep talking about it. All colleagues from developing countries continue to not merely communicate with us, but express interest in visiting us and invite us to visit," he said.

Lavrov noted that he had a tour to African states recently.

"And there will be numerous visits this year," the Minister noted, underscoring that Russia does not feel isolated.
