SEVASTOPOL, October 5. /TASS/. The Anglo-Saxons are eager to put Russia and Europe on a collision course in their military standoff for the sake of their own selfish goals, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said on Wednesday.
"It should be noted that the Anglo-Saxons have long been the primary sources of global instability and they are not ashamed of ignoring the norms of international law and showing their true aggressive nature," the security chief said at a meeting in Sevastopol on security in Crimea.
The Anglo-Saxons have taken a direct role in the resurgence of the Neo-Nazi regime and in the efforts to actively introduce the Nazi-fascist ideology into mass consciousness, Patrushev pointed out.
"The Anglo-Saxons are exploiting Ukraine as an instrument of struggle with our country," the security chief stressed.
"The goal is to suppress Russia, retain their imaginary supremacy, keep their unipolar world, ensure themselves the opportunity to live at the expense of others," he elaborated.
"They believe that they will manage by means of instigating conflicts, as was the case after the two world wars, to again resolve a backlog of their economic problems, including the US huge debt that has topped $30 trillion," he said.
"It is important for them to increase instability, put Europe and Russia on a collision course in their military confrontation to make capital, production capacities and valuable specialists move across the ocean to their territory," the secretary of Russia’s Security Council said, adding that "the Anglo-Saxons have always acted in this manner, each time unleashing a war across the world."
"The cocksure and egoistic policy pursued by the Anglo-American tandem generates numerous hotbeds of tension in various regions, pushing many countries and peoples to the brink of survival. Today Washington and London cannot calm down out of fear of losing their hegemony and are attempting to stir up ever new conflicts, in particular, along the perimeter of such nuclear powers as Russia and China," the security chief emphasized.
