MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. The Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline from Russia to China, which is being designed at present, may come on stream in 2033, the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) said in its gas market report.
"The Power of Siberia 2 project, targeting a capacity of up to 50 bln cubic meters per annum, also is expected to commence operations in 2033," the Forum said.
The gas pipeline start will provide Russia with an opportunity to increase gas supplies to Asia, which may potentially become equal to shipments to the European Union, GECF noted.
