Russian Railways passenger transportation rises by 5.4% to 91.3 mln in February

This figure included 83.2 mln people using suburban routes, which is 4.8% higher than last year, the company added

MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. Passenger transportation on the Russian Railways network in February 2024 increased by 5.4% compared to February 2023 and reached 91.3 mln people, the Russian Railways holding announced in its official Telegram channel.

"In total, 91.3 mln passengers were transported in February (+5.4% compared to February 2023)," the statement said.

This figure included 83.2 mln people using suburban routes, which is 4.8% higher than last year, and 8.1 mln passengers using long-distance routes (an increase of 12%), the company noted.
