MOSCOW, December 26. /TASS/. Russian caviar and roe supplies to international markets may grow from 700 metric tons in 2022 to more than 2,000 metric tons by 2030, the Agroexport federal center says in its analytical review.
"Russia is among the top ten exporters of caviar and roe. Supplies amounted to 700 metric tons worth $16 mln in 2022. According to an estimate of the Agroexport Federal Center, Russian exports can be above 2,000 metric tons or $35 mln by 2030," the center said on its website.
CIS countries are the most promising destinations for Russian caviar and roe exports, considering the stable demand for Russian products evolved in these countries.
"Countries of the Persian Gulf (the UAE in the first instance) can also be viewed as promising destinations for Russian supplies. China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia can be highlighted as perspective markets among Asian countries," the center added.
