Ukraine imports record high daily volume of electricity, national power utility says

The previous maximum of imports was recorded on December 18, when it totaled 6,371 MW per hour

MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. Ukraine imported a record high daily volume of electrical power from Moldova, Romania and Slovakia over the month, the country’s main energy utility, Ukrenergo, said.

"Electricity is being imported during nearly the entire 24-hour period from Slovakia, Romania and Moldova. The total quantity is 6,630 MW per hour, with the maximum capacity up to 563 MW during certain [peak usage] hours," the utility company said on its Telegram channel.

The previous maximum of imports was recorded on December 18, when it totaled 6,371 MW per hour.
