Share of friendly countries in Russian trade turnover to be above 90% by 2030 — PM

Mikhail Mishustin also noted that it would not be proper to fully sever cooperation with non-friendly countries

MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. The share of friendly countries in the mutual trade structure can grow to 90% by 2030, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"The share of friendly countries in the trade turnover can cross the level of 90% by 2030. Therefore, the role of those attempting to restrain Russia now will reduce to a minimum," he said.

It would not be proper to fully sever cooperation with non-friendly countries, the Prime Minister noted.

"Russia has repeatedly stressed it would welcome all foreign partners desirous to continue meaningful interaction. We will apply a diversified approach to this group of countries, proceeding in the first instance from our interests and readiness of counterparties to work in new conditions on the basis of mutual respect and consideration of interests of each other," Mishustin added.
