Speaking about the ongoing processes, the Russian leader remembered the former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, adding that he was "a brilliant diplomat"

MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. Global economic relations are changing, the previous model of globalization is being replaced by a multipolar model, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the VTB Investment Forum "Russia Calling!".

"The entire global system of economic relations is now going through fundamental and irreversible changes due to the fact that the previous model of globalization is being replaced by a multipolar model," he said.

Speaking about the ongoing processes, Putin remembered the former UN Secretary General (1997-2006) Kofi Annan. "Kofi was a brilliant diplomat, a very good, decent person. I can say this for sure. He spoke sincerely," Putin said.
