MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Retail trade turnover in Russia in September 2023 increased by 12.2% year-on-year and amounted to 4.124 trillion rubles ($44.53 bln), while in January-September, retail sales increased by 4.7% to 34.031 trillion rubles ($367.5 bln), according to the Russian State Statistics Service.
"Retail trade turnover in September 2023 amounted to 4,124.2 bln rubles, or 112.2% (in comparable prices) against the corresponding period of the previous year, in January - September 2023 - 34,031.2 bln rubles, or 104.7 %," the statement said.
In the structure of retail trade turnover, the share of food products, including drinks, and tobacco products was 46.3%, non-food products - 53.7% (in September last year - 49.3% and 50.7%, respectively).
