MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Sanctions against the Russian diamond miner Alrosa will lead to large-scale market distortions, Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev said in a letter to participants in the Kimberley Process before its forthcoming plenary session.

"Introduction of restrictive measures against the largest global supplier will inevitable result in large-scale market distortions," Moiseev said.

"The unprecedentedly aggressive interference in the global market presumes dissemination of the rigorous market practice with unpredictable consequences," the letter reads.
